The total payments amount to 9,394 million euros, representing 42% of the budget and the contracted value, and 41% of the approved figure, according to data available until Wednesday.
The largest amounts received include companies (3,365 million euros), public entities (1,938 million euros), and municipalities and metropolitan areas (1,344 million euros).
Public companies (942 million euros) and schools (609 million euros) follow in the top five.
Next are higher education institutions (353 million euros), institutions of solidarity and social economy (329 million euros), families (281 million euros), and institutions of the scientific and technological system (234 million euros).
Project approvals amounted to 22,453 million euros, slightly below the 22,745 million euros reported the previous week.
This value now accounts for 101% of the budget and the contracted amount.
The leading recipients are companies (6,417 million euros), public entities (4,810 million euros), and municipalities and metropolitan areas (4,451 million euros).
Also notable are public companies (3,065 million euros) and schools (1,038 million euros).
Below these are higher education institutions (844 million euros), institutions of solidarity and social economy (824 million euros), institutions of the scientific and technological system (660 million euros), and finally, families (345 million euros).
By Wednesday, the PRR had received 405,128 applications, with 355,917 analyzed.
Approved applications rose to 272,576, an increase of 8,955 compared to the previous week.
The PRR, with a completion period until 2026, aims to implement a set of reforms and investments to recover economic growth.
Besides addressing the damage caused by COVID-19, this plan seeks to support investments and generate employment.
