In the Autonomous Region of the Azores, the change will occur at 1:00 am, switching to midnight.
The legal time will switch again on March 29, 2026, marking the start of daylight saving time.
The current time change regime is regulated by a community law directive from 2000, which mandates that clocks be set forward by one hour and back by one hour on the last Sunday of March and the last Sunday of October each year, marking the beginning and end of daylight saving time.
