Rain has finally returned and is expected to continue at least until the end of the week in mainland Portugal. What will the weather be like tomorrow, Thursday?
The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA) reports that in the Central and Northern regions, as well as in Greater Porto, the sky will be “very cloudy, with temporary decreases in cloudiness during the morning and early afternoon.”
There will also be “periods of rain or showers, sometimes heavy and possibly accompanied by thunderstorms.” However, the intensity and frequency are expected to decrease from the morning onwards.
The wind is expected to blow “moderate to strong,” and there will also be a “drop in temperature, especially the minimum.”
In the Southern region, the sky will also be “very cloudy,” with “generally light rain until the end of the morning.” There is also the possibility of “mist or fog until mid-morning and at the end of the day.” A similar scenario is expected in Greater Lisbon.
The wind is expected to blow “moderate to strong,” becoming “light from the morning onwards.”
