Rain arrives in force tomorrow. The whole country under yellow alert.

Faro, Évora, Setúbal, and Beja districts are under a yellow warning today due to forecasts of showers, occasionally heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms, between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, all 18 districts on the mainland will be under a yellow warning from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for rain, sometimes intense, and accompanied by thunderstorms.

For the southern coast and mountainous regions of Madeira island, a yellow warning has been issued until 12:00 p.m. today due to heavy and persistent rain and the possibility of thunderstorms.

The IPMA has also issued a yellow wind warning, with gusts up to 75 kilometers per hour for Madeira’s south coast and up to 100 kilometers per hour for the mountainous regions from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

For the central group of the Azores (S. Jorge, Faial, Pico, Terceira, and Graciosa), a yellow warning is in effect until 9:00 a.m. today due to forecasts of heavy rain and thunderstorms.

The eastern group (São Miguel and Santa Maria) is under a yellow warning for heavy rain until 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

The yellow warning, the least severe on a three-level scale, is issued when there is a risk to certain activities dependent on weather conditions.
