A man died after being stabbed “in the back and abdomen” following a “family disagreement” late Saturday afternoon in São Domingos de Rana, in the municipality of Cascais.
As confirmed by Notícias ao Minuto through a source from the Polícia de Segurança Pública (PSP), authorities were called to a “disturbance, apparently among family members, at a residence.”
“In the midst of the disagreement, a knife was used, and one of the individuals was struck and died at the scene,” stated the PSP.
The incident occurred around 6:20 PM, and the victim is between 35 and 40 years old.
The suspect was intercepted and detained by the PSP.
The Polícia Judiciária (PJ) was activated and conducted investigations at the location, including collecting evidence.
