A resident of Vila Nova de Famalicão celebrated her 102nd birthday on Saturday.
Isaura de Oliveira Martins, affectionately known as Isaura do Quintas, received congratulations from the Parish Council of Arnoso Santa Maria, Santa Eulália, and Sezures on Facebook.
“CONGRATULATIONS D. ISAURA. The Parish Council congratulates D. Isaura de Oliveira Martins on her 102 years of life,” the post read.
The centenarian, who previously worked as a domestic helper, was also personally congratulated by the heads of both the Parish Council and the Town Hall, according to Cidade Hoje.
The same outlet noted that she retains some mobility, which grants her a degree of independence, along with support from her family.
