A 33-year-old man was arrested on Saturday at a hostel in Lisbon on suspicion of drug trafficking, according to the Metropolitan Command of Lisbon of the Public Security Police (PSP).
In a statement, the PSP reported that officers were called to the scene due to a strong odor of drugs.
Surveillance was set up, and the occupant of the room was approached upon entering.
Items seized from him included a revolver and ammunition, a scale, scissors, over 300 grams of cocaine, nearly 400 grams of heroin, and more than 1.2 kilograms of cannabis.
The detainee is suspected of acting as an intermediary in drug trafficking activities and will be presented to the competent judicial authorities for a preliminary judicial hearing.
