
A seagull trapped at a height of 20 meters was successfully rescued by the Carnaxide Fire Department on Wednesday.
“Animal rescue successfully completed! A seagull in a risky situation, approximately 20 meters high, was swiftly retrieved and assisted by our team,” the organization announced on Facebook.
Following stabilization, the bird was handed over to the Monsanto Wildlife Recovery Center, where it will receive necessary care for eventual release back into its natural habitat.
“We remain committed to protecting all lives – both human and animal,” assured the rescuers.
