The Ministry of Finance announced on Tuesday an extension of deadlines for certain tax obligations due to issues with the Finance Portal, a problem highlighted by the Order of Accountants.
What’s changing?
In an Instagram post, the government detailed the new timelines:
- Until May 9: Invoices for April can be communicated.
- Until May 26: Submission deadlines for VAT declarations related to March (monthly regime) and the first quarter (quarterly regime) have been extended.
- Until May 30: Payment for VAT corresponding to the aforementioned periods can be made.
