Applications for the Accessible Rent program by the Lisbon City Council have been extended until May 16, giving candidates additional time to apply.
The program is aimed at individuals who meet specific eligibility criteria established by the City Council:
Applicant Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must hold a valid residence permit in the national territory
Household Requirements:
- The household income must fall within the minimum and maximum parameters applicable to the selected program;
- Proof of income tax settlement and/or a certificate of tax exemption from the previous fiscal year is required;
- No member of the household may own, have usufruct rights, or hold any title to a residential property located in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, unless they are legally prohibited from occupying it or it is unsuitable for residential purposes.
A total of 101 municipal housing units, ranging from studio apartments to four-bedrooms, are open to competition. These units are financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan or the 1st Right Program.
