A vehicle was traveling on the Municipal Road 633 in Lobases when it veered off course in a curve, falling onto the Metrobus track, which is not yet operational, according to official sources.
The Metrobus is a project integrated into the Mondego Mobility System.
The accident occurred shortly before 9:00 a.m., with 15 emergency personnel arriving on the scene, supported by six vehicles.
Approximately an hour and a half after the accident, the victim was yet to be removed from the location, added the source.
