Doctor who attended André Ventura in the ambulance says “everything went well”

“He is doing well at the moment,” a doctor stated, noting that “everything went well” and that the emergency team’s response was “very quick and very good.”

The INEM team doctor was speaking to journalists outside the Emergency Department of Faro Hospital, where Ventura arrived around 10:40 PM.

André Ventura, the president of the Chega party, was transported by ambulance to Faro Hospital after feeling unwell while delivering a speech during an electoral campaign rally in Tavira. He arrived at the hospital at approximately 10:40 PM.

According to Pedro Pinto, the parliamentary leader and the head of the list for Faro, the Chega leader was conscious when he was removed from the location.

“He is fine, he is conscious, he was talking to us,” Pinto confirmed. The ambulance departed from the rally site around 10:00 PM.

Shortly thereafter, Pedro Pinto specified that the Chega leader experienced chest pain and went to the hospital “as a precaution” to undergo “routine exams.”

The schedule of the Chega president has been intensified in recent days, with campaign activities being announced to journalists on the same day.
