An elderly woman sustained minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Friday morning in Bragança, according to the Sub-regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection in the Terras de Trás-os-Montes region.
The accident took place on Rua Doutor João António Pires Vilar. The victim, approximately 80 years old, is currently receiving on-site medical care and is expected to be transported to the hospital.
Civil Protection authorities reported that the woman “suffered only a minor impact on her leg.”
The emergency alert was issued at 9:27 a.m. Currently, seven emergency personnel and four vehicles from the Bragança Fire Department are at the scene.
