More than 10.8 million voters residing in Portugal and abroad are called to vote in the legislative elections on May 18 to select 230 deputies.
These elections are the 19th held for the parliament, including the elections for the Constituent Assembly on April 25, 1975.
This marks the second time Portuguese citizens are visiting the polls since March 2024 and the third election within three years, since 2022.
