According to a representative from the National Directorate of the PSP, in the early hours, a man approximately 25 years old was shot in the foot and left buttock in the municipality of Amadora.
The representative also stated that the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, noting that authorities were informed of the injured party’s admission to the Amadora-Sintra emergency room at around 04:50.
A spokesperson from the Lisbon Metropolitan Command of the PSP confirmed to Lusa that the man sustained gunshot wounds in the Buraca area of Amadora, corroborating that the PSP had been alerted about the injured individual’s hospital admission.
Both the PSP and the activated Judicial Police are currently conducting investigations, with the source declining to provide further details.
