The AdC announced it will proceed with an “in-depth investigation,” as per article 50, paragraph 1, subparagraph c) of the Competition Law, due to “serious doubts” arising from the concentration operation under consideration based on the collected elements.
Idealista, which operates online platforms for real estate advertisements, notified the AdC on January 16 of its acquisition of Portal47.
“The concentration operation involves Idealista’s acquisition of exclusive control over Portal47,” stated the information released today by the AdC.
Portal47 is a British company that owns the Kyero portal – an online platform for classified real estate ads.
This platform is aimed at individuals residing in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Northern Europe, who wish to buy or rent property in France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
