
A 19-year-old was found dead on Thursday afternoon next to a motorcycle in the Taguspark complex in Oeiras, confirmed the Lisbon Metropolitan Command (COMETLIS) of the Public Security Police (PSP).
Authorities received the alert at 3:30 PM from passersby who discovered the young man, “lying on his back, lifeless”.
However, according to the police, the body shows “no signs of crime or violence”, and “apparently, it is a sudden death”.
The body has been sent for autopsy.
The PSP and the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) were present at the scene.
Taguspark is a “science and technology park” located in Talaíde, in the parish of Porto Salvo, Oeiras, bordering the municipalities of Sintra and Cascais.
It was the first technological park to emerge in Portugal in 1992 and currently hosts companies such as Clínica de Santa Madalena, Hertz, and LG.
