A fire forced the evacuation of two adults and 15 children from a building.
There are no reports of other homes or buildings being in danger.
According to Porto’s District Civil Protection Command (CDOS), the fire is active but “progressing favorably.”
The alert was issued around 3:14 PM, and the firefighting efforts involve 73 personnel, supported by 19 ground units and one aerial unit.
Firefighters from Moreira da Maia, Vila do Conde, Matosinhos-Leça, Trofa, Ermesinde, S. Mamede de Infesta, Coimbrões, Portuenses, Leça do Balio, Pedrouços, and the GNR are present at the scene.
