At least eight vehicles were damaged early today due to the fall of a large tree in Quinta do Barão, in the parish of Carcavelos, Cascais, according to the local fire department.
The Carcavelos and São Domingos de Rana Volunteer Firefighters reported that large trees fell in three areas of the Cascais municipality, “but only in Quinta do Barão were eight vehicles hit.”
The other two trees fell, “presumably due to strong winds,” in Bairro de São João, Rebelva, and Outeiro de Polima, in the parish of São Domingos de Rana, added the source.
