
Thirty artists are set to perform over three days across two stages at what is hailed as “the world’s largest afrobeats festival.”
The main stage lineup today features Chris Brown, Davido, Tiakola Gabzy, Rionsia, and Qing Madi, while the second stage will host performances by Dbn Gogo, Mörda, Nkosazana Daughter, and KMAT.
Thursday marks the debut of Mary J. Blige in Portugal at Afro Nation, an artist with a career spanning over 35 years, influential in the hip-hop soul and R&B genres.
Joining Mary J. Blige on the main stage are Tens, Franglish, Odeal, Amaarae, Naza, and June Freedom.
The second stage that day features Uncle Waffles, Lee McKrazy with Scotts Maphuma, Felo Le Tee, Shakes & Les, and The Therapist.
Afro Nation concludes on Friday with Burna Boy, returning for the fourth time after appearances in 2019, 2022, and 2023, accompanied by Booba, Dexta Deps, Joé Dwèt Filé, and Innos’B on the main stage.
The second stage will see Scorpion Kings, Young Stunna, Vigro Deep, Oskido, and Rosey Gold performing.
Entry to Afro Nation is restricted to those over 18, with identification required to verify age, as stated on the festival’s official website.
Tickets for Afro Nation are priced at 349 euros for a three-day pass and 137 euros for a daily ticket.
