
Twelve of the 15 companies listed on the PSI saw gains, while two declined and one, Navigator, remained unchanged.
Mota-Engil led the gains with a rise of 4.31% to 4.21 euros.
Other notable increases included CTT, up 2.53% to 8.11 euros, EDP Renováveis, increasing by 1.99% to 10.25 euros, and EDP, which added 1.19% to reach 3.86 euros.
Slight gains of less than 1% were observed in Altri (4.91 euros), Navigator (17.18 euros), REN (3.10 euros), Galp (16.52 euros), and BCP (0.68 euros).
Conversely, Ibersol fell by 0.21% to 9.72 euros, and Corticeira Amorim decreased by 0.13% to 7.96 euros.
Elsewhere in Europe, markets showed progress as Frankfurt rose by 1.42%, Madrid by 1.24%, Paris by 1.44%, and London by 0.14%.
Markets continue to react to the extension of the deadline set by the U.S. for imposing new tariffs until August 1. The country has begun sending letters outlining new tariffs to some partners, including Japan and South Korea, reflecting the tariffs imposed unilaterally.
