The festival continues until July 9, featuring three concerts daily across two stages.
Today, the main stage will host the Jamaican band The Wailers, preceded by Kassav’ from Martinique and Guadeloupe. The second stage features the Banda B.Leza, named after the Lisbon club that inspired it.
On Sunday, the festival presents ‘Cat Power sings Dylan’66’, where American singer Cat Power recreates a 1966 Bob Dylan concert in Manchester, with the same setlist. Portuguese fado singer Gisela João will perform on the main stage, and A Sul, a project by Portuguese artist Cláudia Sul, will appear on the second stage.
Swedish musician José González headlines on Monday, June 30, with Cape Verdean singer Mayra Andrade opening for him on the main stage. That day, Malva, the solo project of Portuguese singer Carolina Viana, will perform on the second stage.
Brazilian singers Simone, Rogê (on the main stage), and Aline Paes (on the secondary stage) will perform on July 5.
Italian artist Mario Biondi will appear on July 6, following a performance by Portuguese comedian and singer Herman José on the main stage, and The Lisbon Electric 4Tet, led by American keyboardist Jason Miles, currently residing in Lisbon, on the second stage.
The festival concludes on July 9 with Brazilian bands Paralamas do Sucesso and Detonautas on the main stage, and Portuguese group Zanibar Aliens on the second stage.
Comedy day is set for July 2, featuring Pedro Teixeira da Mota and guests Salvador Martinha, Diogo Batáguas, Luana do Bem, Hélder Machado, and João Miguel Costa.
The festival venue includes an area with food stalls and bars.
Ticket prices for the Jardins do Marquês – Oeiras Valley festival vary by day, ranging from 25 euros to 85 euros.
