The festival, held near Praia do Monte Verde in Ribeira Grande on the north coast of São Miguel, Azores, has unveiled its final lineup, announcing that Boney M. is joining the event’s prestigious roster.
The upcoming edition is set to surprise multiple generations with the official addition of Boney M. to the festival lineup.
With a legendary career and timeless hits such as ‘Rasputin,’ ‘Daddy Cool,’ and ‘Sunny,’ the iconic disco band promises an unforgettable journey through decades-defining sounds.
This addition enhances an already stellar lineup featuring performances from Seu Jorge, a leading figure in Brazilian music; Slow J, a prominent name in the national scene; Grammy winners Portugal. The Man; national hip hop icon Plutonio; and the much-anticipated return of Silence 4.
The lineup details Seu Jorge, Slow J, Virgul, and Miguel Luz performing on the first day, August 7, followed by Portugal. The Man, Plutonio, Fernando Daniel, and Blasted Mechanism on the next day, August 8.
On the final day, August 9, the stage will host Silence 4, Boney M., Piruka, and Novah, among others.
From August 7 to 9, the MEO Monte Verde festival promises three days of music, nature, and celebration, turning São Miguel into a unique meeting point of cultures, styles, and emotions.
