A source from Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) stated that train services are currently suspended between Alcântara Mar and Cais do Sodré in Lisbon.
Earlier, at 8:53 PM, CP – Comboios de Portugal announced on Facebook that service was halted between Algés (Oeiras) and Cais do Sodré (Lisbon) due to an issue with the catenary.
Algés serves as the key stop for the Alive festival, which runs until Saturday in Oeiras.
A representative from the Regimento de Sapadores Bombeiros confirmed the incident, adding that resources were deployed to assist passengers disembarking from a train that had stopped outside the station.
