
BCP has repurchased 12,639,835 of its own ordinary shares between Monday and today, holding 1.51% of its share capital, according to a market communication today.
“[…] BCP informs that in the period between 07 July 2025 and 11 July 2025, under the buyback program, through J.P. Morgan, acting as the financial intermediary responsible for executing this program, 12,639,835 ordinary shares,” reads the statement sent to the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM).
Within the scope of the buyback program and following these transactions, the bank now holds a total of 228,123,432 own shares, representing 1.51% of its share capital.
In yesterday’s stock market session, BCP shares fell 1.67% to 0.66 euros.
