A fire broke out near National Road 372 and spread to the municipality of Sousel, as reported by the Emergency and Civil Protection Sub-regional Command of Alto Alentejo. The alert was issued at 3:07 PM.
The blaze consumed an area of brush and pine trees, with no reports of injuries or affected homes.
According to the sub-regional command, 124 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire, supported by 32 vehicles and six aerial resources.
