The Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (ASF) attributes the reduction in complaints to “improved market practices and more effective preventive supervision.”
In 2024, 39% of complainants received favorable responses from insurers, exceeding the 37.5% recorded in 2023.
Regarding ASF’s supervisory activities, it conducted 2,860 actions and reviewed 835 advertisements in 2024.
The report also notes that 80 behavioral supervisory inspections were conducted at the premises of supervised entities, compared to 74 in 2023.
In terms of sanctions, the ASF issued 40 condemnation decisions and initiated 22 penalty proceedings.
