According to the barometer of AICCOPN, during the first six months of this year, the total amount of public works contracts signed and registered on the Portal Base reached 2.828 billion euros, compared to 1.697 billion euros the previous year.
Of this amount, 2.276 billion euros resulted from public tenders, representing “a significant increase of 85% compared to the value recorded in the same period in 2024.”
AICCOPN further notes that contracts awarded via direct agreement and prior consultation decreased by 18% to 287 million euros.
Since the start of the year, public works tenders were launched amounting to 5.894 billion euros, up 7% compared to 4.494 billion euros.
Thus, AICCOPN highlighted that the “difference between the signed contracts and the public works tenders launched in the same modality amounts to 3.618 billion euros since the beginning of the year.”
