In a communication to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the owner of SIC stated that, “regarding the process described in the announcement issued on June 20, 2025, concerning the potential sale of the building that serves as the group’s headquarters,” Impresa “informs that, as the parties have not reached a final agreement on the terms of the transaction, it will not be realized.”
Despite not reaching a final agreement with BPI Gestão de Ativos, the group maintains its intention to sell and subsequently lease back its facilities.
In the results statement, the group noted that “regarding the continued adaptation of Impresa’s financing structure to the objectives and challenges it faces, adjustments to treasury cycles and the enhancement of the medium and long-term financing structure will continue to be prominent on the company’s agenda.”
In this context, “Impresa remains committed to evaluating alternatives for its debt level, including the sale and subsequent leaseback operation of its facilities in Paço de Arcos.”
Impresa’s losses increased to 5.1 million euros in the first six months, but when adjusted for restructuring costs, the losses amounted to 3.9 million euros, the owner of SIC announced today.
At the end of June 2025, the net remunerated debt stood at 148.2 million euros, reflecting an increase of 3.8% compared to the end of June 2024.
