According to a source from the Sub-regional Command of Alto Minho, the fire that started at 4:45 AM and is burning in a bush area with no homes at risk is now in the “mopping-up phase”.
The aerial support that assisted in combating the flames was demobilized at 10:38 AM.
By 11:00 AM, 62 operatives and 18 vehicles remained on the scene.
