Continental Portugal remains under a yellow warning today due to heat, with the situation extending in 13 of the 18 districts until 6:00 PM Saturday.
In the districts of Lisbon, Leiria, Aveiro, and Coimbra along the coast, the warnings will only last until 6:00 PM today.
As in previous days, Faro is once again the exception, having no warning.
The yellow warning, the least severe, is issued when there is a risk for certain activities dependent on the meteorological situation.
For today, the IPMA forecasts hot weather with clear skies, occasional strong winds in higher areas until mid-morning, and a temperature drop in the Central coast.
Évora is again the hottest area in the country, with 40º Celsius, while Aveiro and Sines have the lowest temperatures, at 29º.
