At 07:45, the fire in Nespereira, Cinfães, was reported to be under control according to ANEPC’s official page, meaning it was contained but still being fought by 62 personnel with the support of 15 ground units.
The alert for this fire was initially raised at 12:20 on Wednesday.
ANPEC also noted that there were six significant rural fires at 07:45. Of these, three were reported to be under control: in Cinfães (the most recent), in Nisa (Portalegre), and in Paredes (Porto).
Fires remain active in Penafiel (Porto), Arouca (Aveiro), and Ponte da Barca (Viana do Castelo).
