No winner was declared in the Euromillions draw number 061/2025 this Friday, August 1. However, there is good news for Portugal as a third prize of nearly 17,000 euros was awarded locally.
A statement from the official website of Jogos Santa Casa confirmed that a player in Portugal matched the five numbers of the winning combination, securing a third prize of 16,608.01 euros. This prize was also won by 13 players abroad, totaling 14 recipients.
The second prize, amounting to 331,615.72 euros, was claimed by three players, all located outside of Portugal, who managed to match five numbers and one star.
As no one matched the full winning combination, there were no jackpot winners, causing the prize pool to increase further. The next Euromillions draw, scheduled for Tuesday, will have a jackpot of 181 million euros.
It should be noted that in Portugal, prizes exceeding 5,000 euros are subject to stamp duty at the legal rate of 20%, as per the current legislation.
