The main stage set up by the bay will feature Pedro Abrunhosa performing at 10 PM on August 28, preceded by performances from Latte and HMB starting at 7 PM. On August 29, Rui Veloso will take the stage, following performances by Duque Província and Carolina de Deus, according to the program released by the Cascais City Council.

Scheduled for August 30 are concerts by António Zambujo and Miguel Araújo, with opening acts by Filipe Gonçalves and Capitão Fausto. The last Sunday of the month, August 31, is reserved for Bárbara Bandeira, following performances by Sofia Hoffmann and Vizinhos.

On the following Thursday, September 4, Richie Campbell will perform after the opening by Bianca Barros and João Só. On September 5, Carminho will close the day dedicated to fado, which starts with Fado à Janela featuring Diamantina and Tiago Correia at 6:30 PM. On Saturday, September 6, DAMA will perform after Charli Elle and Santos & Pecadores.

The final day of the festival, September 7, features a procession in honor of Our Lady of the Navigators, a highlight of the Festas do Mar. The Cascais Symphony Orchestra will perform “the best of Portuguese music,” following performances by Rui Remix and Ténis Bar, concluding with traditional fireworks over the bay.

The stage near the Citadel, also free of charge starting at 6 PM, will “highlight new talents and local artists, alongside renowned names,” featuring concerts by Left, Simão Correia, Manila, Carlota Ulrich, Benedita, Marta Per, Hera, and the winner of the Talenta-Te contest.

In addition to the concerts, “Children’s Moments” will take place from Thursday to Saturday at 5 PM in Jardim Visconde da Luz, featuring “characters promising entertainment for younger audiences.” On the way to the Citadel, various “options for gastronomy and crafts for all tastes and ages” will be available from noon to 10 PM (1 AM on concert days), assured the municipality.

Residents, workers, and students using the Viver Cascais card can access concerts in an exclusive area near the bay stage by obtaining a wristband for the limited available spaces.

Nuno Piteira Lopes, vice-president of the Cascais City Council, highlighted the Festas do Mar as a celebration of “good music and joy” for the entire “Cascais community.” He described it as the “summer festival with the stage closest to the Atlantic, in the beautiful bay of Cascais” showcasing “the best music made in Portugal.”

“This year, we also strengthened the sustainability of the Festas do Mar, as Cascais continues to invest in events with measures to mitigate the footprint left during the festival,” the official stated, emphasizing the “eco cup” for use at the festival and “free transportation for Viver Cascais cardholders, the best option for reaching the festival.”

The Festas do Mar represent an investment of “around 600,000 euros, supported by Cascais Tourism,” with funds from “Estoril gaming and the tourist tax” paid by guests staying overnight in the municipality, added Piteira Lopes.

The presentation of the Festas do Mar took place at the Cascais Visitor Center, near the Town Hall, attended by the mayor, Carlos Carreiras (PSD), and representatives of the event’s sponsoring entities.
