A tragic accident claimed the life of a 58-year-old man and left a 47-year-old man seriously injured around 9 p.m. on Thursday. The incident occurred near a curve, prompting the closure of the road in both directions, as reported by Civil Protection authorities.
A spokesperson from the Viseu District Command for Relief Operations informed Lusa that the EN329 was reopened at 2:43 a.m.
According to the National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection’s website, the scene was attended by 21 operatives supported by seven vehicles.
