
The National Union of Workers in the Food, Beverage, Agriculture, Fisheries, and Related Services Sectors (STIAC) has outlined key demands including salary increases, the resumption of collective bargaining in the water and juice industry, a new company agreement, and the allocation of 25 working days of vacation, according to a document shared with the media.
The STIAC also calls for an end to the use of disciplinary processes for dismissals without cost, and updates to meal allowances, fixed-shift allowances, and the value of night hours.
Other demands include a gradual reduction of the workweek to 35 hours, salary parity, career advancement, and updates to professional categories.
A protest is scheduled at the company’s premises in Parque Zona Norte, Almeirim, starting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
