The 10th edition of the Festival O Sol da Caparica is set to begin on Thursday, August 14, returning to Parque Urbano da Costa da Caparica “with plenty of music and energy.”
The festival promoter highlights that the “10th edition offers the best lineup” and “the festival values and represents Portuguese and Lusophone music.”
The gates will open at 4:00 PM on Thursday, with three entrances available for accessing the venue. On Sunday, the final day of the festival, the gates will open earlier (between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM) for the ‘Children’s Day at Sol da Caparica.’
This year, there is the addition of a new stage: the Digital Stage, “designed for the new generation in tune with new trends,” featuring performances by Os Primos, Plágio, and Cubinho.
The four days will host 37 artists, spread across the Palco Sagres and the Palco Bandida.
What artists will perform at O Sol da Caparica?
On the first day of the festival – August 14 – main stage acts include Neyna, David Carreira, Julinho KSD, Dillaz, and Plutónio.
The following day, Bia Caboz will open the program, followed by Matias Damásio, Menos é Mais, Nininho Vaz Maia, and Richie Campbell.
On August 16, Rich e Mendes, Soraia Ramos, Lon3r Johny, and Da Weasel will take the stage at Palco Sagres.
On the final day, August 17, the main stage will feature Pikika, Tabanka Djaz, MC PH, Bispo, and Wet Bed Gang closing the night.
The Palco Bandida also “promises to enliven summer afternoons and nights” with performances by artists such as Mundo Segundo, Mariana Pereira, Miguel Luz, Miguel Carmona, Sertaneijinho, Curt Davis, among others.
