The national road 8 remains closed to traffic between Loures and Póvoa de Santo Adrião due to significant surface water.
Earlier, Hugo Santos, the sub-regional commander for Greater Lisbon, stated that heavy rainfall led to the overflow of the Trancão River near the Flamenga area in Lisbon. This situation resulted in road closures and necessitated the evacuation of some individuals from their vehicles.
