A criminal investigation was initiated following a report to the Judicial Police (PJ) by the victim’s mother.
The PJ revealed that the incidents took place between October 2024 and February 2025 at the home of a 40-year-old man who, since 2022, had maintained a friendship with the victim’s family, a 14-year-old girl.
The two families shared a close relationship, often visiting and socializing at each other’s homes.
“The strengthening of this friendship led to the victim’s parents entrusting their daughter into the care of the suspect on numerous occasions, with the victim frequently spending nights at his home from September 2024,” the PJ detailed.
According to this police investigation body, “the suspect exploited a clear position of trust, authority, and influence to seduce the minor, leading her to engage in various sexual acts.”
The investigation concluded with searches of the suspect’s residence and his arrest.
