An accident involving a trailer carrying a car and a fuel transport truck on Wednesday morning is causing traffic disruption on the A11 highway, in the parish of Regilde, in the direction of Vizela-Felgueiras.
Although this road is “passable,” as revealed by the commander of the Felgueiras Fire Department, a street parallel to the A11 is closed, as one of the heavy vehicles ended up veering off to that location after colliding with the other vehicle.
The accident did not result in any injuries requiring hospital transport.
According to the Civil Protection website, the alert for the collision was given at 10:59 AM. At the scene were 19 personnel and 9 vehicles from the Felgueiras Fire Department and the National Republican Guard (GNR).
