
In statements, Vítor Rentes, the commander of the Freixo de Espada à Cinta firefighters, reported that three injured individuals were transported by land to the Hospital de Bragança, while another was airlifted by the helicopter of the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), stationed in Macedo de Cavaleiros, to the same health facility.
On-site were 16 operatives supported by eight firefighting vehicles from Freixo de Espada à Cinta and Mogadouro, alongside the medical team from the INEM helicopter.
The GNR is present at the scene to direct traffic while firefighters and other teams work to remove the vehicles involved in the accident and clean the road.
