
A collision involving a heavy goods vehicle and three light vehicles resulted in three injuries on the morning of Thursday, November 20, on the A3, near the Santo Tirso exit.
The Porto District Command for Relief Operations (CDOS) confirmed the accident, stating that the victims are being assisted on-site.
Brisa Concessão Rodoviária announced in a press release that traffic was cut off in the North-South direction, that is, from Braga to Porto, near kilometer 21.
The alert for the accident was given at 10:52 a.m. Several members of the Famalicão Fire Department, Brisa, and authorities are present at the scene.
Meanwhile, according to Porto Canal, witnesses at the scene said the truck had a “tire blowout” and lost control, vaulting the central divider and crashing into three cars.
The same channel reports that the accident victims did not suffer serious injuries and were only treated at the scene.
