A garbage truck accident occurred on Monday on the Estrada Nacional 103 in the union of parishes of Santa Lucrécia de Algeriz and Navarra, Braga, resulting in three injuries.
According to information from the Braga Sapadores Firefighters Battalion, the victims, all male, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Braga Hospital.
The truck, belonging to the municipal company Agere, lost control and overturned. The alert was issued at 2:45 PM.
It appears that the injured individuals were all Agere employees.
Regional sources suggested a mechanical problem may have caused the accident.
Present at the scene were the Sapadores Firefighters of Braga, the Portuguese Red Cross, and the National Republican Guard.
