The Lisbon Local Court for Minor Offenses has found a 19-year-old university student guilty of two counts of damage while acquitting him of another charge related to the attire of the police officer who apprehended him.
Vicente Fernandes, an activist from the Student Climate Strike movement, has been ordered to compensate the current Prime Minister with 958 euros and pay 527 euros, plus interest, to a CDS photographer.
The climate awareness protest took place on February 28, 2024, at FIL in Lisbon, during the electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections scheduled for March 10, 2024.
