A source close to the actor disclosed that the victim left the hospital at around 2:00 am on Wednesday and even went to the theatre afterward.

The stage director of the play Adérito Lopes is participating in, Maria do Céu Guerra, had previously stated that the actor was left with an “injured eye” and a “large cut on his face.”
Actress Maria do Céu Guerra described how, as the actors were arriving at Cinearte in Largo de Santos, they encountered “a group of neo-Nazis with posters and flyers,” featuring xenophobic phrases, who began by taunting one of the actresses.
“Meanwhile, the other actors were arriving. Two were taunted and a third was violently assaulted, leaving an eye injured and a large cut on his face,” she said.

The actor Adérito Lopes was attacked by a far-right group before taking the stage in a tribute to Camões. The play was canceled, and the actor ended up hospitalized in Lisbon.
