Support of up to 750 euros is available for enhancing digital skills in areas such as cybersecurity or social media management. This initiative, known as the ‘Cheque-Formação + Digital,’ is emphasized by DECO PROTeste.
“Through this measure, workers can be reimbursed with a maximum support of up to 750 euros when they engage in training activities to enhance their digital skills, specifically in areas such as cybersecurity, social media, or data analysis,” stated the consumer protection organization.
Who is eligible?
As per DECO PROTeste, any worker can apply for this support, irrespective of the nature of their employment relationship, including:
- employees under a contract;
- self-employed workers, whether earning business or professional income;
- sole proprietors;
- partners in single-member companies;
- and public sector workers.
However, priority is given to candidates who:
- are involved in the digital transformation processes of the companies or social economy organizations they work for;
- are at risk of unemployment;
- have a low level of digital knowledge;
- or belong to the less represented gender in a certain profession.
