
An aircraft crashed on Friday in the Cernache area, in the municipality of Coimbra, Portugal. The Sub-regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection of the Coimbra Region confirmed that the accident resulted in two injuries.
The injured individuals were transported to a hospital with injuries considered to be minor.
Local newspaper Notícias de Coimbra reported that the accident occurred near the Cernache Scout Field, and the aircraft crashed outside the Cernache aerodrome premises.
The alert was raised at 11:15 a.m., with 19 personnel on site supported by six vehicles, including the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), Coimbra Volunteer Firefighters, and Coimbra Municipal Firefighters.
