Organized by the Associação Cultural Portalegre Core (ACPC), the 9th edition of the festival will take place at the Quina das Beatas café-concert space of CAEP, with performances starting at 21:00.
“It is a milestone we have achieved by reaching the 9th edition. We have always included bands from the Portalegre region and also from other countries,” said Hugo Correia, president of ACPC, to the Lusa agency.
On Saturday, this year’s festival will feature two national music projects: White Crow, a group reuniting 21 years after their founding, and Azzaya, who have already released the records “Raging Satanic Aggression” and “I Begin,” and are preparing to launch the EP titled “Infernal Blasphemia” in November.
Closing the night will be the Hungarian band Omega Diatribe, making their debut on Portuguese soil, which is “an achievement,” noted Hugo Correia, emphasizing the festival’s commitment to “always bringing good alternative music” to Portalegre.
According to the organization, tickets will cost five euros each, with only 100 available, while ACPC members can enter for free.
