Anes has already been discharged and is at a “friend’s farm”: “Away from my daughter”

José Manuel Anes has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at a “friend’s estate” after being stabbed by his daughter, Ana Rawson, on October 20.

“After two weeks in the Surgical Emergency at Hospital São José, I am now at a wonderful friend’s estate on the outskirts of Lisbon, an ideal place for rest and recovery,” he wrote on Facebook.

He added: “I am also far from the lies spread by my daughter’s sick and evil mind.”

About a week ago, the former president of the Observatory of Security, Organized Crime and Terrorism (OSCOT) noted via the same social network that he was recovering.

The criminologist was attacked on October 20 at his home and was subsequently admitted to Hospital São José in serious condition after being stabbed multiple times. “The victim had several wounds and lacerations on the abdomen, hands, and legs, apparently caused by a sharp object. He also had bruises around the eyes inflicted by the suspect’s fingers,” explained the Lisbon Metropolitan Police Command in a statement on the day of the attack.

The main suspect in the crime is his daughter, Ana Rawson, who remained in police custody after the attack and was later detained. On October 21, the 52-year-old suspect underwent her first judicial interrogation for the application of appropriate coercive measures, resulting in her being remanded in custody and taken to a prison hospital.

After the attack, daughter ‘confessed’ on social media

The authorities explained that at 1:54 PM on the day of the attack, a patrol car from the 1st Division of the Lisbon Metropolitan Police Command (Cometlis) was dispatched to Rua Quirino da Fonseca in Lisbon following reports of alleged assaults by a daughter on her father.

A witness to the incident informed the authorities that they saw a woman, “allegedly a relative of the victim,” leaving the house, and “fearing for the man’s physical integrity,” the witness entered the residence.

Cometlis stated that when the witness entered the house, they found “the 81-year-old man prostrate on the floor covered in blood.” The witness was “aware of the history of domestic violence” between the victim and the alleged aggressor.

It is also noted that at 1:25 PM on the same day, José Manuel Anes’s daughter, Ana Rawson, posted several messages on Facebook about her father.

“My daddy today is ‘on fire.’ Finally, after four years, I entered Carla Pinheiro’s house and he, between bites, scratches – the old man is still arrogant – calling me a whore and saying he hates me. He said he had a fortune paid over the years by Mossad in an account in the name of Carla Pinheiro,” she wrote.

About half an hour later, she wrote: “I think I left my father José Anes without eyes, but you will hear them say he died peacefully. Mossad knows how to clean up scenes (don’t forget the upper denture that flew out). I’ll take photos of the lower part. The animal was tenacious, but he said interesting things about Camarate.”
