Another collectible coin is coming – and it will be called ‘Simone de Oliveira’

The Bank of Portugal (BdP) announced on Wednesday that a commemorative coin with a face value of five euros will be released on July 9, 2025. This coin will be named “Simone de Oliveira” as part of the “Portuguese Musicians” series.

According to BdP, the ‘Simone de Oliveira’ coin will be legal tender only in Portugal and features:

On the reverse:

  • A portrayal of the singer’s face;
